Unauthenticated identity spoofing via unchecked review submission
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Roxnor WP Ultimate Review 2.3.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to spoof reviewer identities and expose review data. The review-submission function processes unauthenticated requests without a capability check and associates attacker-controlled identity information with submitted reviews. No account is required, and the consequence is limited to review-submission integrity and data exposed by that workflow.
