CVE-2026-3964Public exploit

Local command execution via crafted Chat message

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

OS command injection in OpenAkita 1.24.0 through 1.24.3 allows local users to execute commands through a crafted Chat API message. The run function in src/openakita/tools/shell.py passes the Message argument into shell command execution without neutralizing command metacharacters. A low-privileged local account and Chat API access are required; injected commands run with the OpenAkita process's privileges.
