Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in W3 Eden WordPress Download Manager 3.3.53 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via shortcode attributes. The shortcode rendering path places user-controlled attribute values into generated HTML without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Author-level access and a later page view are required, causing the script to run in the visitor's browser under the site's origin.
