Unauthenticated RCE via unsanitized database password
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Code injection in ChurchCRM before 7.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP through the unauthenticated setup wizard. The wizard copies the unsanitized DB_PASSWORD value into Include/Config.php, where injected PHP becomes executable configuration code. Exposure requires the installation setup page to remain reachable; successful exploitation runs code as the web service account and permits full host compromise.
