Authenticated script execution via unescaped date attributes
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Reflected XSS in ChurchCRM before 7.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted fundraiser-search URL. FindFundRaiser.php writes DateStart and DateEnd directly into HTML input value attributes without attribute-context output encoding. The attack requires both parties to be authenticated and the victim to visit the crafted URL, enabling same-origin actions and access to in-session data.
