Cross-origin data leakage via service worker timing
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Side-channel exposure in Google Chrome before 146.0.7680.71 allows remote attackers to infer cross-origin data through ResourceTiming. Service-worker subresource responses retain detailed connection timing that ResourceTiming should clear before exposing a cross-origin entry. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page and user interaction; the consequence is limited to indirect disclosure without data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
