Sandbox escape via reused-tab use-after-free
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Use-after-free in WindowDialog in Google Chrome before 146.0.7680.71 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. CreateNewWindow mishandles a reused tab selected by the SINGLETON_TAB disposition, leaving code to use an object after its lifetime ends. A renderer process must already be compromised and a user must load the crafted page; successful exploitation crosses the renderer sandbox boundary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
