Authenticated SQL injection via contact search filter
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
SQL injection in SOGo before 5.12.7 allows remote authenticated users to compromise its database through crafted contact searches. The fetchContactsMatching method embeds its filter in a raw SQL LIKE expression without adaptor-aware quoting. Reachability requires a MariaDB or PostgreSQL SQL user source with cleartext password storage; exploitation grants database compromise and server-side code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
