Administrative JavaScript execution via stored visitor name
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in PHPGurukul Apartment Visitors Management System 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript. The visitor form stores the visname POST value without neutralization, and management and detail pages render that value into HTML without output encoding. A valid application account is required to plant the payload, and JavaScript executes in an administrative user's browser when a visitor record is viewed.
