Privileged UI actions via missing anti-framing headers
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Clickjacking in Transmission 4.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to induce privileged WebUI actions through a framed page. libtransmission/rpc-server.cc emits WebUI and RPC responses without X-Frame-Options or a CSP frame-ancestors restriction. An authenticated Transmission user must load and interact with attacker-controlled framed content; the issue does not enable cross-origin reads or bypass CSRF by itself.
