CVE-2026-38822Hinoki check available

Authenticated command execution via semicolon-bearing GET keys

Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

OS command injection in openNDS before 11.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands via crafted HTTP GET keys. client_params.sh passes query-parameter names into shell processing without rejecting semicolons, letting a key append an unintended command. Reachability requires an authenticated captive-portal session on the adjacent client network, and injected commands run in the gateway daemon's context.
