Unauthenticated ACL bypass via hard-coded rtm account
Published Mar 13, 2026 · Updated Mar 13, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in Syslink Software AG Avantra before 25.3.0 allow remote attackers to access ACL-restricted functionality. The legacy built-in rtm account validates credentials embedded in the product instead of credentials provisioned uniquely for each deployment. The account requires no prior authenticated session and permits limited data access and modification outside the intended ACL, with no reported service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
