Unauthenticated root command execution via log viewer
Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 18, 2026
Command injection in InHand Networks IR912 and IR915 firmware 1.0.0.r20042 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The vendor identifies the log-viewing function as the injection point but has not disclosed the input field, command construction, or missing neutralization. Network access without authentication is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants root-level control of the affected router.
