Authentication bypass and database disclosure via SQL injection
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
SQL injection in StratonWebDesigners HireFlow 1.2 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and read the application database. The app.py login() and search() functions concatenate submitted username and query values into raw SQL instead of binding parameters. Both endpoints are remotely reachable without authentication, exposing account access, credentials, candidate records, and interview data.
