Missing integrity verification in IBM Db2 Recovery Expert 5.5 IF 2 allows remote attackers to modify data during transmission. IBM identifies only an insecure transmission-integrity verification mechanism and does not disclose the affected protocol, component, or validation operation. Network access requires no privileges or user interaction, and the reported consequence is modification or corruption of transmitted data.
