Stored script execution via rendered subtitle filename
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Stored XSS in GazellePW commit 86c4bedf727691b5a97af42a4864869d18446449 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript via a subtitle filename. The upload handler stores the crafted filename, and the deletion view inserts that value into its response without safe output encoding. A signed-in attacker must upload the file, and script execution occurs when another authenticated user opens the subtitle deletion page.
