Stored XSS via donor avatar tooltip text
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Stored XSS in GazellePW allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript through the donor avatar tooltip text field. The donor configuration path stores avatar_mouse_over_text, and the avatar rendering path emits the saved value into tooltip output without context-appropriate encoding. An authenticated donor can persist script that executes in another user's browser when that user views the affected avatar, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.
