Unauthenticated PHP execution via unchecked Gravatar download
Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Cloudways Breeze Cache 2.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to place PHP files via crafted WordPress comments. Breeze_Cache_CronJobs extracts an attacker-controlled URL from a comment author field, and fetch_gravatar_from_remote downloads it into the public Gravatar cache without validating its type or extension. Exploitation requires the default-disabled Host Files Locally - Gravatars option and permits unauthenticated server-side PHP execution.
