Unauthenticated remote code execution via stack overflow
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in ATOP EHG2408 firmware before 3.36 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over the network. ATOP and TWCERT identify a stack overflow but do not disclose the vulnerable service, input field, function, or unsafe copy operation. TWCERT reports no privileges or user interaction, while ATOP's earlier advisory requires user interaction; successful exploitation redirects program flow and runs code on the switch.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
