Authenticated code execution via unchecked webSiteId concatenation
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1202 1.2.0.14(408) allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted webSiteId. The formWebTypeLibrary function passes the user-controlled value to strcat without a length check, overflowing the stack buffer s__1. Low-privileged access to the router's HTTP management interface is required; a long POST body can crash httpd or corrupt execution flow.
