Integer overflow in Artifex jbig2dec commit cc37d0 allows remote attackers to crash a decoder via crafted JBIG2 input. jbig2_arith_iaid_ctx_new() accepts SBSYMCODELEN values above 31, after which jbig2_arith_iaid_decode() left-shifts a signed integer beyond its valid width. Exploitation requires an application to decode the crafted image, and the bounded consequence is an application crash.
