Authenticated memory corruption via oversized index parameter
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda i3 1.0.0.6(2204) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted index parameter. The formWifiMacFilterSet handler accepts an oversized index value from a POST body and writes past stack-buffer bounds. Low-privilege web access is required; the disclosure demonstrates the overflowing request but does not establish whether exploitation crashes the AP or executes code.
