Authenticated SQL injection via dashboard search
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via dashboard search. The Search component in dashboard.php inserts the POST searchtxt value into a MySQL query without adequate neutralization, enabling Boolean- and time-based blind SQL injection. A valid application session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database enumeration and disclosure of stored credentials, customer data, and sales records.
