Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized supplier name
Published Mar 9, 2026 · Updated Mar 9, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read MySQL data via a crafted POST request. The check_supplier_details.php handler incorporates the stock_name1 value into a database query without sanitizing SQL syntax, enabling UNION, Boolean-blind, and time-based payloads. A valid PHP session is required, and demonstrated exploitation retrieves database contents; no operating-system command execution is established.
