Application crash via cyclic PDF object recursion

Uncontrolled recursion in Foxit PDF Editor and PDF Reader allows attackers to crash the application with a crafted PDF. The document traversal path passes the current PDF as a request object into JavaScript APIs and recursively follows cyclic page and annotation references without detecting previously visited objects. Processing the malicious document is required; affected releases are Editor 13.2.2 and earlier, 14.0.2 and earlier, and 2025.3 and earlier, plus Reader 2025.3 and earlier, and stack exhaustion terminates the application.
