Authenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in sanjay1313 Visitor Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via an image upload. The admin_user_insert.php and update_1.php handlers pass the supplied filename and temporary file directly to move_uploaded_file() without validating MIME type, extension, or content. Administrator access is required; an uploaded PHP webshell executes with the web server process's privileges when requested by URL.
