Authenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf
Published Mar 8, 2026 · Updated Mar 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F453 firmware 1.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted GO value. The WrlclientSet handler passes the user-supplied GO parameter through sub_3A7D8 to sprintf without a length check, overflowing a stack buffer. Low-privileged access to the web-management endpoint is required; exploitation can execute code or crash the router.
