Authenticated code execution via unchecked GO parameter
Published Mar 8, 2026 · Updated Mar 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F453 1.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted HTTP request. formWrlExtraSet passes the user-controlled GO parameter to sub_3A7D8 without a length check, where sprintf overwrites the stack buffer s_. Low-privileged web-interface access is required; successful exploitation can execute code or crash the router without user interaction.
