Remote code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Alexantr filemanager 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through filemanager.php. The upload path accepts executable PHP files without restricting their extension, MIME type, content, destination, or execution permissions, then stores them in a web-accessible directory. Reachability and authentication depend on deployment configuration; successful execution runs with the web server process's privileges.
