Database disclosure via injectable appointment ID
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Patient Appointment Scheduler System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The /scheduler/admin/appointments/manage_appointment.php endpoint accepts SQL syntax in the id query parameter and passes it into a database query, as demonstrated by a UNION payload that returns the database name. A valid administrator session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of data accessible to the scheduler_db database account.
