Database-name disclosure via crafted rent identifier
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Storage Unit Rental Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The admin rents/manage_rent.php handler incorporates the id query parameter into a database query, and a crafted value invokes updatexml to expose the current database name through an error. Administrative access and a valid PHP session are required, and the documented consequence is database-name disclosure.
