Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized stock_name1
Published Mar 8, 2026 · Updated Mar 8, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via stock_name1. The check_item_details.php endpoint passes the POST parameter into a MySQL query without sanitizing it, enabling boolean- and time-based blind injection. A valid PHP session is required; demonstrated payloads enumerate database structures and exfiltrate stored sales and inventory information.
