Database read and modification via unsanitized user parameter
Published Mar 8, 2026 · Updated Mar 8, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Student Web Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify database data through profile.php. The endpoint inserts the GET user parameter directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling boolean, time, and UNION injection. The published request contains a session cookie despite the report's no-login assertion, so unauthenticated reachability is not established.
