Database manipulation via unsanitized registration password
Published Mar 8, 2026 · Updated Mar 8, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Student Web Portal 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate the database through the signup form. The signup.php registration handler places the POST reg_passwd value directly into a SQL query without parameter binding or sanitization. No login is required; a crafted password can trigger time-based blind queries that read or alter data within the database account's permissions.
