Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via unsanitized id
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Vehicle Parking Area Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The /parking/manage_category.php endpoint accepts the id query parameter in an SQL expression without neutralization, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to reach the database. An administrator-level PHP session is required; the demonstrated query reads the database name, while arbitrary SQL permits database modification or service interruption.
