File disclosure and code execution via name parameter
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Path traversal and arbitrary file creation in Responsive FileManager 9.14.0 allow remote authenticated users to read files and execute code. The name parameter in force_download.php accepts traversal sequences for local-file reads, while execute.php create_file accepts a trailing-dot filename that bypasses file-type controls and writes executable PHP. A valid PHP session is required; successful webshell creation executes commands with the web server account's privileges.
