Superadmin arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Path traversal in Veno File Manager 4.4.9 allows remote authenticated users with Superadmin access to read arbitrary server files. The /vfm-admin/index.php and /vfm-admin/ajax/streamvid.php handlers process crafted POST and GET path values without constraining the resolved path to managed storage. Exploitation requires a Superadmin session and exposes files readable by the PHP process; no write or code-execution impact is reported.
