Telemetry disclosure via hardcoded Langfuse credentials
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Information disclosure in PentestGPT 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive user telemetry through embedded Langfuse credentials. The init_langfuse function places fixed project credentials and a shared service host into the process environment before initializing the telemetry client. Possession of the distributed source or package exposes the credentials; the reported consequence is read access to telemetry available through the shared project.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
