Arbitrary SQL execution via unsanitized sql_query argument
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
SQL injection in CrewAI Tools NL2SQLTool 1.10.2rc1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via the sql_query argument. NL2SQLTool passes the argument to a database execution path without sanitizing the SQL text, allowing attacker-controlled statements to run. Exploitation requires access to an application exposing the tool, and consequences are bounded by the configured database connection's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
