Unauthenticated root command execution via unsanitized WPS PIN
Published Mar 8, 2026 · Updated Mar 8, 2026
OS command injection in the CGI Handler of TOTOLINK N300RH Firmware 6..1c.1353_B20190305 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The setWiFiWpsConfig function in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi inserts the HTTP PIN parameter into a hostapd_cli shell command with sprintf and passes the result to CsteSystem without validation or escaping. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the router's web management interface must be reachable from the attacker's network location.
