Database disclosure via crafted category identifier
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
SQL injection in Sourcecodester Cab Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose database data through the category id parameter. The /cms/admin/categories/view_category.php endpoint accepts a crafted GET id value that changes the database query, and a UNION payload returns the active database name. Access requires a valid management session with high privileges, and the published assessment limits the demonstrated impact to database confidentiality.
