Service crash via unchecked hostname copy
Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Stack overflow in TOTOLINK A3002RU V3 3.0.0-B20220304.1804 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to crash the boa service. The formMapDelDevice handler passes the untrusted hostname parameter directly to strcpy without checking the destination stack buffer's capacity. A crafted authenticated management request overwrites stack memory, interrupting the router's management service and potentially the device.
