Device crash via oversized unchecked buffer copy
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Buffer overflow in Tenda W20E 15.11.0.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted HTTP request. formAddWewifiWhiteUser obtains the wewifiWhiteUserInfo HTTP value, finds its newline, then uses that offset as strncpy's copy length without bounding the destination buffer. The web action is remotely reachable without authentication, and an oversized value crashes the process or destabilizes the device.
