Unauthenticated service crash via unbounded sprintf
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
A buffer overflow in Tenda PW201A 1.0.5 qossetting allows remote attackers to crash the HTTP service via a crafted HTTP request. The handler reads the page parameter with websGetVar and passes it without a length limit to sprintf into the fixed-size acStack_120 buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; an oversized page value can crash the process or destabilize the device, with no reported data access or modification.
