CVE-2026-36789Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated device crash via unchecked CGI input

Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC1206 15.03.06.23 allows remote attackers to crash or reboot the router via HTTP. The fromGstDhcpSetSer CGI handler passes an unchecked dips value to strncpy; a value without a period makes the copy length equal the full input. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a sufficiently long dips parameter causes a device crash or reboot.
