Stored XSS via unsanitized JSON request bodies
Published Apr 30, 2026 · Updated Apr 30, 2026
Stored XSS in Shopizer 3.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user's browser via JSON API data. XssHttpServletRequestWrapper sanitizes headers and URL parameters but leaves getInputStream() and getReader() unchanged, so @RequestBody JSON reaches storage without AntiSamy filtering. A low-privileged administrator must store a payload and a victim must view the affected resource; execution can expose the victim's session or perform actions with that victim's privileges.
