Server file disclosure via unsafe report XML parsing
Published Apr 30, 2026 · Updated Apr 30, 2026
XXE in SpringBlade 4.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files through crafted report XML. SpringBlade stores XML submitted to /ureport/designer/saveReportFile, then UReport2 ReportParser passes it to a SAX parser that permits DOCTYPE declarations and resolves external entities during /ureport/designer/loadReport. Any authenticated user able to use the report designer can retrieve files readable by the service account; external HTTP entity URLs also enable SSRF, while recursive entities can exhaust memory and interrupt the service.
