Stored script execution via JSON filter bypass
Published Apr 30, 2026 · Updated Apr 30, 2026
Stored XSS in SpringBlade 4.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted notice content. XssHttpServletRequestWrapper filters the raw JSON body before Jackson decodes Unicode escapes, so encoded angle brackets bypass XssHtmlFilter and are stored as active HTML. Execution occurs when a recipient views the notice; no click is required after the notice opens.
