CVE-2026-3674Public exploit

Launcher-entry tampering via spoofed caller identity

Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026

Improper authorization in Freedom Factory dGEN1 20260221 allows local users to alter launcher entries through FakeAppProvider. The exported ContentProvider trusts a caller-controlled callingPackage string in ContentValues instead of checking the calling UID or signature. A malicious application installed on the device can enumerate, add, modify, or delete FakeApp entries, including replacing trusted dapp URLs with attacker-controlled destinations for phishing.
