Arbitrary file access via unchecked extra-variable references
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
IDOR in Rhymix before 2.1.31 allows attackers to access arbitrary files through file-upload extra variables in board posts. The document extra-variable handler accepted a referenced upload identifier without verifying that the referenced file belonged to the submitting user or post. Exploitation requires a board configured with the file-upload extra-variable type introduced in 2.1.18, and successful requests disclose the selected file.
